A PREPARTION PERIOD from 01. May 25 on  A1 Procurement of materials

– Collection of pallet donations: KAJA private car + trailer and storage
A2: Supply technology
– Power supply: Connection to the Ja!Space network incl. intermediate meter
– KAJA: 3 cable drums 20/30 meters, outdoor sockets
– Water supply: Ja!Space- service water kitchen and showers
– Gas supply for the camp kitchen: two 11 kg bottles

July 25
A6: Building camp architecture from pallet constructions and canvas elements
– A 6.1 Plenum/meeting places
– Covered space in the camp incl.  tent sets
– Additional tables (can also be used as work tables)
– Room in the KuBitZ culture centre

 – A6.2 Camp kitchen
with EU-stars-roof (as an alternative or in addition to a kitchen trailer)
– Sink made of mortar buckets Cooking area with recess for Installation of gas burners

A3: Digital / event and presentation technology

A4: APV: Saturday, 08.06.25
– Sunday, 09.06.25 Advance Planning Visit in Ja!Space/ Quartier Wir / KuBiZ accommodation/ meeting room + kitchen , Two sleeping places in private apartment

A 5 : Pre-assembly of the Camparea- structures
– Daily, preferably on Saturdays Use of the KuBiZ wood workshop and storage of the design elements
– KAJA machines: 2 hand-held circular saws/2 cordless scrapers/ 2Flex / 1 orbital sander
– To borrow: Workshop Quartier Wir – belt sander ect.

– A 6.3 Work tables outside the plenum – A6.4 Benches

A 7: Showers/washbasin
– Camp: Solar shower / option to recycle service water

A 8 Toilets
– Dixi – rental toilet
– Public toilet in the KubiZ (70 m walk)
– Eco/separate toilet with irrigation bed (meeting project)

 

A 9: Technical help
We invited a vocational training center specializing in wood design to place young people in the project to build the camp infrastructure




B European Meeting Aug. 18.8. – 30.08.2025

B 1: Overnight stay:

– Ja!Space https://kiezgestalten.de/locations/jaspace/
-private tents of the participants and group tents (set up from 15. Aug.)
-In case of external threats, bad weather conditions, health problems, possibility of staying overnight in the KuBiZ Culture Centre common room

Nutrition: self-catering by mixed European kitchen teams, another field for intercultural experiences. The teams are asked to bring recipes and ingredients to the camp.

The „JA!Space – a former sportarea- sourounded by a high fence

Workshop formation: dissolution of national teams, formation of European groups, exciting constellations that also contain potential for conflict

Protection and Safty
– Fencing around the camp site with a 3 meter high fence
– the site used to be a sports field.
-Lockable access
-Police station around the corner, approx. 200 meters
– First aid equipment
– Helper qualifications:: Teamers have completed first aid courses.
– Information from the embassies about the Eur. meeting (except Belarus)

For safety in the background, – the alternative accommodation in a large KuBiZ meeting room

General daily schedule: 6 hours of active workshop participation, otherwise 2 hours of camp activities (meals, cooking/kitchen duties , meals and clean-up work)
2 hours of evening activities: learning events, national evenings.

Insurances: In addition to national/European insurances, the groups are additionally insured by KAJA-West e.V. prior to departure (if insurance is required as a condition of departure / condition of visa issuance). The insurance cover also includes liability insurance.
