OVERVIEW
about teams,camp- organisation, programme of the meeting, creative work-
shops,info-events, presentations and excursions
With the support of the EU / Eramus+, we want to organize a creative camp in Berlin-Weißensee on the grounds of the KuBiZ cultural and educational center and the neighbouring Ja!Space from 18 to 30 August 25.
A European project space is to be opened to enable up to 25 youngsters and young adults up to the age of 25 from Georgia, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine and Germany to try out experimental-participatory formates.
Project-expectations: the general philosophy „art as a form of meeting“ states, that the social process is more important than the aesthetic result.Tis means, that the main projects will not be created by competing individual artists working side by side, but together as common projects, into which each participant may integrate her/his own contribution (look left, how children do it). In the preparation period from April 25 on each participant has the right to design a participation concept relating to the fields of action and to describe/ illustrate it on an A3 „Workshopposter“.
Political, artistic and climate change-related topics form the challenge. We are guided by European values such as freedom of expression and artistic freedom.
For example, participatory large-format acrylic paintings, political posters and sculptures will be created in creative workshops and performances will be carried out for presentation on social platforms.
Background knowledge will be developed in accompanying educational workshops and on national evenings to enable informal and intercultural learning experiences.
Excursions to thematically related locations and partners in Berlin, e.g. „Haus der Zukunft“ at Alexanderplatz, will also be organized.
It is also planned to involve local partners in the preparation, i.e. setting up the camp infrastructure and in the above-mentioned meeting formats. In order to recognize the learning outcomes, the participants will then take the EU „YOUTHPASS“ certificate home with them.
